Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the co-founding artistic director of the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. As SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. The last year of her tenure she served as director of lighting and design for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut. Alongside acting, she's been part of several games programs. The Post family, which includes her two sisters and daughter were nurtured in the home of her science-minded father Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School, where she played cheerleading. She was a student at Pomona College for a short duration and graduated at Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Post had been married before to Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been married to actor cum writer Michael A. Ross with whom she has two daughters. A wonderful actress and a perfect wife and mother. Post has been a source of inspiration to many people who work in Hollywood.
